Background: |
William E. Turnipseed was born in Washington, DC, in
1946. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Mr.
Turnipseed served in the U.S. Army. Following law school, Mr.
Turnipseed served as Assistant Regional Counsel with the General
Services Administration and Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern
District of Georgia before joining Savell & Williams in 1979. Mr.
Turnipseed is the current President of the Spina Bifida Association
of Georgia, a past member of the National Board of the Spina Bifida
Association of America, and a past member of the Georgia Governor’s
Counsel on Developmental Disabilities. He also serves as an Elder in
the Decatur Presbyterian Church.
