Susan Clark Speer - V-card

Susan Clark Speer is a native Atlantan born in 1968.  She attended Duke University from 1986 until 1989 and received her B.A. in Art History from Georgia State University in 1994.  She studied art history in Italy in 1992 and worked in an Alaskan art gallery in 1993.

Ms. Speer graduated from the Georgia  State University College of Law, cum laude, in 1997.  During law school, she worked as a research assistant for intellectual property and entertainment law Professor Michael Landau.  As a participant in the GSU extern program, Ms. Speer worked for The Honorable Dorothy Toth Beasley, former judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals, as well as The Honorable Marion T. Pope, former judge for the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Ms. Speer joined Savell & Williams as an associate in 1997.  She concentrates her practice in the defense of businesses and individuals in civil lawsuits, including motor vehicle liability, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage disputes and bad faith litigation.  She also practices in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, and subrogation.  Ms. Speer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers’ Association.  She is admitted to practice before the Georgia state and appellate courts, and the Northern District of Georgia.

Ms. Speer lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
